David Forteza Chirino

 

My landscapes recreate places of Viñales, Luis Lazo, Pons in Pinar del Río and Camagüey. My compositions are created with real, typical elements of these places and in others the product of imagination, always respecting the identity of the Cuban countryside.

 

My speech is of naturalistic and ecological conviction.

I use warm and vigorous palette and drawing poetic landscapes, there is no doubt that we are in the Trópico in which we are guests and in this way I call to our senses to preserve and protect the man and his environment.

 

I like my palette that transforms the natural look of things, give enhancement in composition, contrasts and colors. I like the blues and greens surrounded by some chromatic richness, I show my penchant for environmental and ecological issues.

The human touch and the presence of transformative often looks on my canvases. My "green-blue" dreams are illustrated between the real and the surreal always in an environment that represents our world to which we cherish and to love.
